In this issue, we will profile our dedicated Board of Directors. They volunteer countless hours providing governance to Bartlett and certainly deserve our appreciation. We thought you would like to read a little bit about each individual. You will also find a large section of this issue devoted to Bartlett Beginnings, our award-winning obstetrics unit. You’ll find answers to questions new parents ask frequently about the challenges and joy of bringing a new baby into the world. There’s a new doctor coming to Juneau later this summer, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. We’ll introduce you to Nicholas Newbury, DO, in this issue. Traveling to Juneau for service sometimes requires members of a patient’s family to stay overnight. Learn how Bartlett House can make staying a little more affordable and accessible in many cases.
