www.bartletthospital.org 9 Bartlett Regional Hospital serves patients from all parts of Southeast Alaska. Some patients and their families have to travel considerable distances for treatment. It’s a convenient, low- cost lodging alternative for families of out-of-town patients. Bartlett House is situated on the Bartlett Regional Hospital campus, mere steps away from our emergency department and cafeteria. Facilities The lodging facility has seven guest rooms with two single beds in each. Rooms are equipped with a private bath, telephone, alarm clock and television. The house has laundry facilities. There also is a commons area with a complete kitchen. Roll away beds are available. Two rooms are handicapped accessible. Up to four guests are allowed in each room. No more than two rooms may be used by one family. Bartlett House is a smoke-free and alcohol-free environment. Guests should be able to walk or use a wheelchair and be able to care for themselves. Individuals requiring assistance to accomplish normal daily activities may stay only if accompanied by an assistance companion. Bartlett A place to stay Bartlett House awaits your visit! Seven guest rooms, along with other facilities, will make you feel right at home. Bartlett House offers lodging for patient families from outlying areas House is not a medical facility, and there are no medical personnel on staff. Common area The Bartlett House kitchen includes utensils, cookware and dishes. The Hospital cafeteria is across the parking lot. Vending machines are available in the hospital on the second floor. Amenities Parking is provided. Recreational vehicle parking with electrical hookup is available for $10 per day. Security is available to help transport patients to the hospital for clinical services. Contact the admission/registration office at 907-796-8900 for assistance. Registration Rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Because of our guests’ uncertain departure dates, rooms cannot be guaranteed in advance. Guests register for check-in and checkout at the admitting/registration offices on the first floor of the hospital next to the emergency department. Charges Room charges are $65 per night. Payments may be made in cash, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Bartlett House is an authorized Medicaid provider. Checkout Checkout is at noon. Keys must be returned to the admitting/registration offices on the first floor, which is open 24/7. Guests will be charged an additional night’s fee for a late checkout. Admission criteria w w Physician referral is required. w w Inpatients and outpatients are allowed one day prior to appointment and two days after appointment. w w Patients receiving medical services other than at Bartlett Regional Hospital may, with a physician referral, be eligible for rooms. w w Families of patients or companions may stay on the same basis as patients. w w Maximum stay for families of inpatients is seven days. w w Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
