A supportive foundation Bartlett Foundation is very proud to support Juneau’s community hospital. Our crucial goal is raising funds to provide philanthropic support for our hospital now and in the future. Your contributions to Bartlett Foundation have helped make Bartlett Regional Hospital the leading regional health care provider that it is. We are so grateful to you for helping to create and support our committed team of caregivers. This year Bartlett Foundation’s main fundraising event, the Black and White Gala and Fundraiser, focused on increasing access and expertise in behavioral health services by raising funds to purchase psychiatric telemedicine equipment and providing behavioral health and wellness resources. In years past, the Gala has helped raise funds for much-needed hospital beds, special training for nurses who treat rape victims, and last year, the creation of the Baby Box program, which promotes safe sleep by distributing baby boxes to every baby born at the hospital. Bartlett Regional Hospital is not a facility with endless resources or with the funding opportunities that research or for-profit hospitals have access to. It is a hospital owned by the City and Borough of Juneau, and the foundation’s mission is to raise funds for needed medical technology and improved health care that may not otherwise be achievable. Over the years your contributions have helped make Bartlett Regional Hospital the quality regional health care provider that it is, as evidenced by quality awards it has earned over the years. Ways you can help With the holidays approaching and the weather changing, our thoughts often turn to family and friends and a feeling of thanksgiving. This is also the time of the year when many of us start thinking about charitable giving. Giving is easy! We encourage you to find a way that works for you, whether it be a lifetime gift, charitable trust, bequest or corporate giving.
