‘‘ Thank you for such great communication, care and kindness, and standards of professionalism. ’’ ‘‘ ED nurse Jenny Twito took care of our granddaughter. Really, really good at starting IV and doing her work. We were so lucky she was working that day. ’’ ‘‘ I was taken by ambulance to your hospital. My symptoms were something I had never experienced before. We were met at the emergency department by a friendly, caring, compassionate, professional staff. Everyone was wonderful. The individual with whom I had the most contact was Physician Assistant Brian Hood. Brian did a marvelous job explaining what was happening, which made our experience much less stressful. Dr. Lindy Jones and the nurse (I am sorry, but I don’t recall her name) were also amazing. On Monday after we returned home, we received a nice call from Claire, a nurse, to ask how we were doing. My experience at Bartlett Regional Hospital went a long way in getting me calm and ready to face the tests I had when I returned home. I am pleased to let you know that my symptoms have gone away and I am recovering nicely. ’’ ‘‘ My 11-year-old daughter needed to come in for some blood work recently. She was quite anxious about this process, but Mark (in the lab) was wonderful with her. Not only did he explain the process, but he went very slowly to ensure that she was mentally ready.
