In June, Bartlett Regional Hospital had its very own group of grads, most of them just a few months old. They earned certificates for cooing to a nice massage from mommy. This adorable crew of baby massage families finished their five- week course with flying colors! Infant massage benefits include improved sleep for infants and parents and relief from tummy aches and growing pains. The next Infant Massage class begins Nov. 5. The class meets Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to noon, for five weeks. It is taught by Kasia Spengler, RN, IBCLC, Certified Educator of Infant Massage. Bring your baby—recommended age: 2 to 8 months—a blanket to put on the floor and a pillow. We will provide massage oil, but you are welcome to use your own if preferred.
